Fan – Twin 44” (1.12M) diameter
axial flow, 10 bladed variable pitch fan constructed of high strength
reinforced fiberglass polyamide, operating at 2100 RPM.
Stainless entrance and discharge vanes
on
blower housing. Dual stainless steel UHE
turning vane assemblies for additional air volume performance. Fan
shaft is
solid mount on pillow block bearings. Fan shaft bearings can be greased
from
outside of sprayers. Through duct with
bottom scoop.
Power –
John Deere 6090HF-485 Power Tech Plus, 6 cylinder turbo diesel, 325HP,
Tier 3
Centrifugal clutch in
driveline.
Controls – Electric. Throttle, left and
right spray control valves.
Instrumentation
– CANPLUS In-Cab Display
Shutdown system checks oil pressure and water
temperature. Pressure Gauge located on
front of sprayer.
Safety Shutdown
- Oil
pressure and water temperature are safety shutdown type.
Start-stop switch on front of sprayer.
Engine
Compartment – Louvered
hoods and doors. Gas cylinders hold
doors open and keep them tightly closed.
Fuel Tank – Two 75-gallon tanks, one
left, one right
Pump – Myers 2 stage centrifugal
pump, 100 gpm (378 LPM) at 200 PSI rated.
Operates at 90 GPM (340 LPM) 200 psi
(13.8 bars).
Nozzles - 28 Spray Systems nozzles per
side. Nozzles in 2 rows.
Ceramic discs and whirl plates. Individual shutoffs with check valves.
Manifolds - (4) ½” manifolds.
Strainers - One suction, dual pressure
line strainers.
Hitch - Clevis type hitch, adjustable.
Unique sprayer height adjustment keeps
wheel
width as narrow as possible in these positions while allowing sprayer
to be
raised to lowered to large extremes.
