Twin 44" (1118mm) axial flow 10-bladed variable pitch fans of Super Tough polyamide. Entire fan housings, including straightening vanes and smooth, rounded air intakes, are stainless steel. Vanes placed to straighten air. Fan shafts are rubber mounted on pillow block bearings. Fan shaft bearings can be greased from outside of sprayer. Adjustable vanes are designed to adjust air pattern to place air where needed. Turning vanes handle air at discharge gently to give air maximum efficiency and performance. Dust shield and bumper are built together.

Dual stainless steel spray manifold includes 28 Spray System nozzles per side. Nozzles are in 2 rows. Each nozzle has individual shutoffs with check valves, and the nozzle angle is adjustable. Ceramic nozzles size D5 disc and 25 cores.

John Deere model 6081A Power Tech diesel engine, 6 cylinder. Heavy duty air cleaner is located inside hood, yet it draws cool air from outside. Air filter includes precleaner and paper element. Engine, located in front of spray tank, is coupled to fan via centrifugal clutch and heavy duty driveshaft. Universal can be replaced without drive shaft removal from unit. Clutch allows smooth startup and shutdown.

Shutdown system checks oil pressure and water temperature. Gauges located on front of sprayer include: Tachometer, amp meter, oil pressure, water temperature, spray pressure and hour meter. Air filter service indicator under hood. Start-stop switch on front of sprayer.

Swivel clevis type hitch, 4-way adjustable. Unique sprayer height adjustment keeps wheel width as narrow as possible in these positions while allowing sprayer to be raised or lowered to large extremes.

Entire unit is designed to accept optional SmartSpray system.
